Fire Chief, Justin Grider started his role on March 1st, 2024. With a distinguished career that saw him rise through the ranks, he brings a wealth of experience and expertise to District 3.
Chief Grider's professional journey includes serving as the Deputy Fire Chief of the esteemed Los Alamos Fire Department before assuming the role of Deputy Fire Chief at Clallam County Fire District 2 in Port Angeles. His commitment to community safety, exemplified by his adeptness in building partnerships across the Olympic Peninsula, aligns seamlessly with District 3's mission to safeguard lives and property.
Residing in Sequim with his wife and son, Chief Grider's ties to the community run deep. Beyond his professional commitments, he nurtures a passion for bird hunting and actively engages in teaching HazMat classes globally. Excited to assume the position of Fire Chief in his hometown, Chief Grider looks forward to serving the District with unwavering dedication and enthusiasm.
